We booked our accommodations in hotel Graciano Cottage in south Goa. The cottage is situated right near the Colva beach. It was not the peak season when we were there but still there was many people flocking here. The best thing about south Goa is the night life. It is not that loud compared to north Goa but it is quiet outside and the opposite inside the clubs and hotels.
If you want to enjoy quiet romantic walk then Colva beach would be the best beach in Goa. You can walk a mile along the sea shore and there is no one to disturb you as everyone would be happy enjoying themselves.The Goan cuisine is surely worth eating. The aroma and the taste of every dish is so good that you would end up eating double. Although everyone say that vegetarian food is costly is Goa, our personal experience says that in Hotel Graciano cottage you would find good vegetarian food at very reasonable prices. There are also various cruises in Goa which one should undertake which includes Crocodile and Dolphin cruises.
Liquor is very cheap in Goa as it is a union territory. You will find different brands of liquor at the amount you wouldn’t have imagined ever. Although you can purchase it from here and but you can’t take it out of Goa. This was a general summary of south Goa where I had one of the best vacations ever.
